Workflows have a list of standard parameters which determine their behavior. These parameters can be changed so that the workflow reflects the business process more closely. Moreover, the workflow can be copied and custom values can be set and saved for each subsidiary.
There are a set of workflows which are not asociated with any subsidiary. To find these, users can sort the list of workflows by the subsidiary column, ’Sort Ascending’ option or simply clicking on the ’Subsidiary’ column as presented below. In this way, workflows with empty subsidiary, will appear on top. Workflows that are not asociated with any subsidiary were created as samples for each process and these should be copied.
·
As referecnce, users can
take also the ’PAV’ subsidiary, in this way they can see all the workflows
neccessary for a subsidiary.
Select the
workflow you would like to copy (workflows can only be copied individually) and
then press the 'Copy workflow' button.
After selecting
the subsidiary, press the ’continue’ button and the workflow will be
copied for the desired subsidiary.
As presented above, you should copy workflows one by one.
After workflows were copied for a newly created subsidiary, their parameters can also be adjusted individually.
Generally speaking, when a workflow is used and started, certain people have to approve it (they receive a message that there is a workflow to be approved). Not everyone has access to all workflow processes.
These rights must be set individually for each workflow in parameters section as below:
Select the workflow for which you want to adjust the parameters or set the approval accesses on ’Parameter' tab.
Click on the '+' icon in the 'parameter value' column where you select the Roles that you want to have approval right.
Please make sure while adding the Roles, that the boxes are ticked next to the Role and NOT the line itself is selected, select as many Roles as needed and then press the 'Assign' button.
